Let the players deal with the top of the league - YOU can help get them to the top of the charts by downloading 'Posh We Are'.

Posh We Are was written in the 70s by Brian Paine and Tony Pickering (arr. John Bellamy) and has been a mainstay at London Road ever since. In late 2007, Steve Thorpe of the Free Kicks Foundation approached The Voyager School and The Lightyears with the idea of re-recording the song to bring together the community, to raise money for the charity and as a tribute to the team at the end of an outstanding season.

Recorded by The Lightyears in The Voyager School's state-of-the-art recording studio and with the help of the Voyager choir, Posh fans and, of course, the players, the new version of Posh We Are went on sale today (Monday).

It will only take 5000 downloads to get Posh We Are into the Top 40. All money raised through sales of the single goes directly to the Free Kicks Foundation.

Goalkeepers Joe Lewis and James McKeown, defenders Daniel Blanchett and Kieran Charnock, alongside winger George Boyd lent their voices to the record.
