Peterborough United will celebrate automatic promotion to Coca-Cola League One with an open top bus through the city on Sunday with the route beginning at the top of Crawthorne Road at 11am.

The route will see the bus travel along Broadway, onto Long Causeway and into the city centre before the players meet the Mayor at the Town Hall. Thousands of fans are expected to line the route and boss Darren Ferguson believes it will be an ideal time for the players to thank the supporters.

'The fans have been magnificent and this open top bus ride through the city will give the players and management a chance to show their appreciation for the support we have received this season,' Ferguson said.
