Crow 'Surplus To Requirements'
Peterborough United boss Darren Ferguson has revealed that striker Danny Crow is 'surplus to requirements' and has confirmed that Frenchman Claude Gnakpa has left the club.
Crow has been on-loan at struggling Notts County where he has been a regular in the starting line-up and Fergie admits there will be no room in his squad for the former Norwich City front man in League One.
'Danny is surplus to requirements at this football club and he is available while there are one or two others that I don't expect to be here next season. Claude Gnakpa has now left the club and I think he will sign for a League Two club for a bit more money.
'We made him a good offer as he has played well for us this season, but if players think we will meet all of their demands then they are wrong. I thank him for his efforts for the club, but he won't be here next season.
'Rene Howe has done very well at Rochdale and he will come back next season, while we will wait and see on Shwan Jalal. The Mark Tyler situation will depend on whether Hull City get promoted to the Premier League because if they do they will definitely need three goalkeepers.
'So there is a chance that Hull City could make that deal permanent which would be a great deal for Mark. We will wait and see on that one,' Ferguson said.
