From The Chairman
I am gutted that this is the final game of our campaign and we have to all wait for a couple of months for the new season, unless of course at the time of writing this, fate has intervened and rewarded us with a play off place - now that would be special for all of us.
Either way let me say to all of you who have supported us through this roller coaster season, a massive thank you from everyone at the club. I would love to have been at today's game to walk around the ground and thank you all in person but unfortunately I am in the USA on business that cannot be avoided.
Also to everybody who has renewed or bought a season ticket for next season, thank you for showing your intent and we look forward to repaying you all with promotion next season. I have said it before and I will say it again this club is evolving in an incredibly positive way top to bottom and is a great place to be around. This is the kind of professional atmosphere you will only find at clubs a couple of league higher and in preparation for the future!
I have massive belief in our manager and the squad he is putting together and anybody who watches us play football knows how good this team can be and the sky is the limit. The club has put together a great pre-season line up and I hope to see all the Posh fans at these games as we entertain some of the giants of this game.
Let me also ask all Posh fans to show their support to Mark Tyler who has been an incredible servant in his time with the football club, by coming to his Testimonial against a Liverpool XI.
A quick recap from me on highs and lows this season:
1. Taking over Posh
2. The FA cup victory away against Tranmere
3. Our horrendous losing streak before and after Christmas
4. Hiring Darren Ferguson
5. Destroying MK Dons 4-0
6. Losing against Accrington Stanley
7. Posh open weekend
8. Our supporters response to season ticket sales target
Enjoy today's game and lets all look forward to next season and bringing home the League 2 (or 1) title!
Take care ![]()
