Branston Ponders Cobblers Switch
On-loan Northampton defender Guy Branston admits he would 'definitely' consider leaving Peterborough to secure a permanent move to Sixfields.
Branston, who is at the Cobblers on a one-month loan deal from rivals Peterborough, believes the future looks bright for Town and revealed he would have no qualms with signing for Stuart Gray's side.
He told the Northampton Chronicle: 'It's something I would definitely have to consider. When you look at the Midlands area you've got Nottingham Forest who are a very big club and then after that it probably is teams like Northampton. I definitely consider them to be a big club.
'The last couple of months have been a disaster for me really at Peterborough. Luckily the manager there (Darren Ferguson) let me go out on loan and have a bit of a go somewhere else and I'm grateful to him for that.'
