Crow Could Interest Imps Again
The availability of Peterborough United frontman Danny Crow could alert Lincoln City as they attempt to boost their striking options.
At least one new forward is part of the seven new players manager Peter Jackson wants to add to his squad ahead of next season's promotion push.
Free-scoring Mansfield ace Michael Boulding has already been heavily linked with a move to Sincil Bank, while Crow could be another high-profile target.
The Posh forward was targeted by the Imps' previous management team of John Schofield and John Deehan last summer.
But a hefty transfer fee is believed to have halted their interest. However, with just a year left on his contract, and after making just six Posh appearances this season, his price tag is sure to have dropped.
Although Crow has had no contact with the Imps, he is almost certainly on his way out of London Road after being told by manager Darren Ferguson he is not part of his plans.
"I'm still a Peterborough player" said Crow.
