Young Alfie made a name for himself in the 2007-2008 campaign by scoring against Liverpool at Anfield whilst on-loan with non-league Havant and Waterlooville. The winger is learning his football education and has a big future in the game according to manager Darren Ferguson. A winger with plenty of pace and trickery, Potter was snapped up by the Posh Centre of Excellence and was nurtured through the system before the highly-rated youngster was awarded his first professional contract.
