Supporters are already snapping up season tickets for the 2007-2008 campaign after they went on sale at a reduced rate over the weekend.

Existing season ticket holders were sent renewal forms through the post and fans are able to renew online at www.theposh.com, which they have been doing throughout the weekend. The Box Office has been busy since 9am on Monday and there are plenty of reasons to snap them up early.

If you purchase your season ticket and back chairman Darragh MacAnthony's big plans for the future, you will make a saving of nearly £100 if you buy a season ticket before the end of March for the Norwich and Peterborough Family Stand.

A season ticket will represent an even larger saving over the new match day prices - a £125 saving in the seated areas and £115 in the London Road Terrace. The football club are committed to attracting youngsters to London Road and season ticket prices and admission prices have been frozen for under 16s.

The children's price structure is identical to the 2006/2007 campaign and means that when an adult seating season ticket is bought, you are entitled to a free under 10 and a discounted junior under 16 season ticket. The discounted junior under 16 season ticket, which is also available in the London Road Terrace, is half the normal price and works out at £1.52 per league match.

Chairman Darragh MacAnthony, in his letter to existing season ticket holders, said: 'I have said before and I will say it again. Winning matches is fantastic but winning matches and feeling that the whole community is onside and willing the club on to the next level will be even more special.

'I am delighted to announce that prices for under 16s have been frozen and under 10s will still go free when accompanied by a paying adult. Buying a season ticket for the first time or renewing your current one is your way of showing that we are in this together. This year there are no booking fees for season ticket purchases.

'I know that you will back me and I give you my word that I am as passionate about making this club one for us all to be proud of. Show me that you share that passion and ambition and get that season ticket form filled in,' MacAnthony said.

The club are holding an open weekend on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th March with the players, management and Darragh present and there are many activities taking place. You can purchase your season ticket at this event with the fun kicking off at 10am on Saturday and 1pm on Sunday.

Alternatively, you can purchase your season ticket by visiting the Box Office at London Road or by calling 01733 563947. Existing season ticket holders can also renew online via our online ticketing system using the login details found on their renewal letters.
