Over 9,000 tickets have been sold so far for the pre-season friendly with Manchester United at London Road on Saturday 4th August and fans are advised that there will be no tickets available on the day.

Ticketmaster are currently selling tickets for this friendly with Sir Alex Ferguson's men via their hotline - 08712 309805, but sales will conclude on this service on Friday. This is because of the impending postal strikes.

Supporters can purchase tickets via www.theposhtickets.com and will be able to do so after Friday with the tickets held at London Road for collection.

Fans are reminded this fixture is all-ticket, so to avoid disappointment, please purchase now. Tickets are priced at £25 for adults to sit and £20 to stand, while concession prices are set at £15 to sit and £10 to stand.

Manager Darren Ferguson told theposh.com: 'There has been a fantastic response from our supporters with over 9,000 tickets sold and it should be a great atmosphere. I am really looking forward to the game and it will be great to pit my wits against my father who will be here.

'It will be great for my players to test themselves against some world-class players in the United side. It will be a great occasion for everyone connected with Peterborough United,' Ferguson said.
