Peterborough United Football Club have sold over 2,000 season tickets for the 2008-2009 Coca-Cola League One campaign.

Since sealing automatic promotion to League One, the Box Office has reported a large number of supporters securing their seat for next season and with a week or so still remaining in the early discount period, the club are well on course to meet the chairman's target.

Posh Director of Football Barry Fry told theposh.com: 'It is a magnificent response from our supporters and it is an incredible achievement to sell 2,000 season tickets for the new season before the end of April. There is still time to take advantage of our excellent prices in the first early discount period.'

Supporters can purchase a season ticket from the London Road Box Office from 9am until 5pm, Monday-Thursdays and from 10am until 5pm on Fridays.
