GOAL SPONSORSHIP SCHEME
The following have pledged their support for our scheme for this season. Money for each month will be collected at the first home match preceding the previous month. This season "Big" Dave Coulson will be responsible for collecting and running the Goal Sponsorship Scheme. Each pledge of 25 pence per goal means that this entitles each member a chance in the end of season draw. If a member pledges 50 pence, it enables them to two chances and so on. Only paid up members are entitled to be in the draw.
Information
Each person that joins the scheme will commit to sponsoring each goal scored by Peterborough United in units of 25p. At the end of the season a draw will take place with the winner receiving a cash sum from the money raised. Each sponsor will have their name in every home match day programme and the amount raised as a running total will be announced.
Example: if each of the 100 sponsors commits to only 25p for each goal the amount raised will be £25 for each goal scored. If Posh score 70 goals in total from all league and cup matches then the total raised will be £1,750, of which a percentage will be for the winner drawn out of the 100 sponsors. The balance will be handed over to Peterborough United for a particular project.
